I have more than fifteen years of teaching experience in the field of mathematics. This is the subject area I am most comfortable with and what I help students with. Math tends to be one of those subjects students either have an affinity for or one they find challenging. When it is something they struggle with, it can be difficult to catch up within a classroom setting because teachers often don't have the time to go back and review concepts that were previously presented. In a one-on-one learning environment, it is much easier to customize the material to meet the student's academic needs. In math, concepts build upon one another like blocks being used to build a tower. If you're missing blocks on the bottom, the entire tower is unsteady and it can be impossible to complete the higher levels. With tutoring, we can make sure the foundation is solid so that you can continue building your tower of mathematical knowledge.
